This week my best friend Bec, her husband and 3 gorgeous boys came to stay for a few days from Coffs Harbour. So we decided to get in the studio and take some pretty pics. Can you believe Bec has a 4.5month old! Love you sweety hope you like your photos! :)

So after my amazing workshop in Bondi with Carrie and Britt from Baby as Art the lovely Britt and her mum (mom) came up to Bateau Bay to photograph some gorgeous babies at the beach! two of my lucky JasArt 'friends' got to have their babies model for us! (thankyou to them!) Here are my photos from the day! Thankyou so much Britt it meant the world to be working with you and 3 other loverly photographers! It was such a wonderful day!

Baby As Art! 2 day course in Sydney!

I had the most awesome time learning from the best Carrie & Britt from Baby as Art!

They flew over from the US to teach 3 two day workshops 1 of which was in Sydney I was one of the lucky few who attended and what I learnt was amazing! lets hope I can put it into play!

All these photos were taken by me but posed and perfected by Baby as Art (I pretty much just stole their shot haha) Enjoy

What a fun creative week! - Central Coast Photographer

This was a fun week! My big boy turned 10 on Sunday! Wow that makes me feel old! His awesome cake was make by the lovely Rach at Rach's Frosted Fantasies. I had the pleasure of photographing lots of gorgeous babies (as I do every week) Love their little sneak peeks!
I also I got a new prop! The most beautiful bath you ever did see! And got some use out of it! Had two gorgeous cousins playing with 30 of my cute rubber duckies and managed to get myself in front of the camera too! Scary stuff! But I had a wonderful friend Collette (who is also the author of my fav cook book Cut Out the Crap) taking my pics! She decided many months ago when I started giving babies massive bowls full of fruit loops that I needed to be in a bath full of loops being that im the 'LoOpy' photographer... A challenge i was up for haha But not without the help of a my awesome hairdresser Kristy and makeup artist Laura (Laura Louise Makeup Artistry) oh and a little photoshop ;) I also snuck in a pic with my boys when they got home from school!
I got to photograph Collette too! In her domain The Kitchen! She is simply stunning!

Yesterday I got the pleasure of photographing one of my closest friends 16 day old baby girl Georgie. Mum, Annette and I use to live next door to each other in Coffs Harbour when our big babies were babies that would be 9 years ago! Man that makes us sound old ;) Here are just some of their photos. Why edit a photo? Why do newborn shoots cost more? - Central Coast Photographer

Here is a photo of a beautiful baby who looks adorable no matter what but you can see the difference between edited and non edited. This is also why newborn shoots cost more than older babies.

8 out of every 10 babies that come though JasArt studio have skin like this little man and as you can imagine its a timely exercise to make them 'photo' perfect.

Newborns also take longer to photograph. Most people think newborns sleep no matter what but these people have never stripped a newborn and put them under bright lights! haha. It takes lots of time to warm and soothe bubs so we can mould them into the perfect pose.

And its all worth it in the end :)

On Thursday I got the pleasure of having two newborn shoots :)

In the morning I had Mr 8 day old and his family with his beautiful big sister Miss 1year old.

They were such good kids I got some beautiful photos!

And in the afternoon I got to photograph Mr 6 week old and his gorgeous mummy!

He was a little grizzle bum but I convinced him sleeping was more fun,

a little rocking in the nest and he was sold on the idea ;)
